Authorities in charge of tourism in Egypt anticipate a 20 percent increase in income during the winter travel season this year.
Every year, tourism traffic begins to increase steadily in November and peaks in December and January.
Cities along the Nile are flourishing in the winter, and Egyptian tourism benefited from this summer’s performance.
Among winter travellers, Luxor, located in southern Egypt, is the most preferred destination.
Experts predict that up to 90% of hotels will be occupied.
