A few days ago, we sat down with @ahmedshahinofficiall , the actor behind Asfour in #BangKeli, for an honest conversation about one of the season’s most talked-about characters.
From the overwhelming reaction and criticism he received online to the challenges of portraying such a complex villain, he opened up about stepping into Asfour’s shoes, whether he ever sympathised with the character, and how he dealt with the impact of the role beyond the screen.
He also took us behind the scenes of ‘Bang Keli’, sharing his experience working alongside Salma Abu Deif and the moments audiences didn’t get to see.
Second Reel Dropping Soon.
