MAD Solutions Strengthens Presence at 7th Amman International Film Festival with 12-Title Line-up
MAD Solutions is set to make a significant impact at the 7th Amman International Film Festival – Awal Film, with 12 titles featured across the festival’s competitive and special programmes, underscoring the distributor’s continued commitment to championing contemporary Arab cinema.
Leading the line-up is Dhafer L’Abidine’s Sophia, which has been selected as the festival’s Opening Film in the Special Screenings section. MAD’s presence also extends to the Arab Feature-Length Narrative Competition, where Behind the Palm Trees, Cotton Queen, The Settlement and Where the Wind Comes From will compete for top honours.
The company is further represented in the Arab Short Film Competition with Aicha and I’m Glad You’re Dead Now, while the Spotlight on Tunisian Cinema programme will showcase Exile, Satin Rouge and Hedi. Completing the line-up are Yunan, Ambush and Kentucky Gaza, all screening out of competition.
