Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, met with Inventure Group Consortium at the Ministry’s headquarters in New Alamein City for the implementation of CAPIMED (Capital Medical City) in the New Administrative Capital and NCMC (North Coast International Medical City) in New Alamein, developed by Inventure Group. The Minister affirmed that the state accords the highest priority to developing these 2 Mega Projects as healthcare is a pillar of sustainable development, noting both projects represent an advanced model of integrated healthcare that strengthens Egypt’s position as a regional hub for medical services and health tourism. He also presented the Health Tourism Platform, enabling international patients to register, book appointments, and coordinate with healthcare facilities electronically. CAPIMED spans 321 feddans (~1.5M sqm) with 18 specialized hospitals, 1 General Hospital, and 1 Medical & AI University — up to 5,000 beds. NCMC spans 221 feddans (~1M sqm) with 15 specialized hospitals, 1 General Hospital, and 1 Medical & AI University — up to 4,000 beds. Both include clinic towers, outpatient facilities, ICUs, labs, and dialysis units. Each project features a medical education ecosystem: teaching institutes, training centers for 4,000 students, simulation centers, and research facilities. AI & Data Centers, Insurance Buildings, support health data management, fully integrated into Egypt’s comprehensive health insurance system. Developments also include physician residences, commercial centers, patient hotels, 5-star hotels, international wellness resorts, and mixed-use facilities. Both follow a PPP/DBOOT model as a joint venture between Egypt’s General Authority for Hospitals/Ministry of Health and Inventure Group as Master Developer and majority partner. The government contributes in-kind infrastructure — water desalination, power, renewables, gas, fiber-optic, roads, bridges, and solar lighting — aligned with smart-city standards as Egypt’s first Cognitive Cities. The Minister directed comprehensive implementation plans per international standards. Attended by Ministry, Inventure Group Consortium, Sovereign Wealth Fund Delegation.
