MedFest Egypt Announces the Launch of “72-Hour Film Challenge”, as Part of Its Eighth Edition, Scheduled to Take Place Between (10-14) September at the AUC in Tahrir Square.
The prize is 40,000 EGP for the director, as well as awards for Best Cinematography, Best Actor, and Best Editor.
Additionally, participation is open to Egyptians and Arabs residing in Egypt. No prior experience is required, for evaluation is based on the quality of the idea, the power of the storytelling and teamwork.
Participants will be challenged to write, shoot, and edit a short film within 72 hours using creative elements revealed at the kick-off event.

Submission deadline: August 2
Selected films will be screened within the proceedings of the festival.
