A major new Arabic-language thriller is bringing together some of the region’s biggest stars alongside international talent in what promises to be one of the most anticipated productions of the year.
‘Al Amir (The Prince)’ stars Ahmed Ezz alongside Amina Khalil, Khaled El-Sawy, Samy El-Sheikh, Yasmina El-Abd and Hamza Diab, with international appearances from Pedro Alonso, best known for his role as Berlin in ‘Money Heist’, and acclaimed Turkish actress Tuba Büyüküstün.
Directed by Hollywood filmmaker Stephen Hopkins, whose credits include ’24’ and ‘Predator 2’, the six-part thriller follows an Egyptian intelligence officer on a high-stakes mission to infiltrate an international terrorist organization.
Filmed across Saudi Arabia and Egypt, ‘Al Amir’ marks another ambitious step for Arabic-language productions as regional storytelling continues to expand onto the global stage.
