The agreement, signed by Dr. Mina El-Naggar (Founder & Director of MedFest Egypt) and Eng. Karim El-Hannawy (Secretary-General of ESLSCA University Egypt), was announced ahead of the 7th edition of MedFest Short Film Festival (September 17–21), held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.
Key elements include:
.Student participation in workshops, film discussions, and direct engagement with industry leaders during the festival.
.A jointly offered scholarship program to support future creative industry leaders.
.Year-round workshops across Egyptian governorates.
Dr. Mina El-Naggar highlighted the festival’s mission since 2017 to discover and support young cinematic talents across Egypt.
Eng. Karim El-Hannawy emphasized bridging academic study with real-world industry experiences to prepare students for professional excellence.
Founded in 2017, the festival uniquely combines cinema, health, and dialogue through international screenings, panels, and workshops, creating spaces for cultural and social understanding.
