Teaser of “A Wedding or a Funeral” Released!
The Union of Video and Filmmakers has unveiled the teaser of “A Wedding or a Funeral”, directed by Amira Diab in her feature debut. Starring Nelly Karim and Sherif Salama, the film follows two very different families forced to spend seven days together ahead of a lavish wedding, blending comedy, suspense, and social drama.
Written by Amira Diab and Dina Maher, the film emphasizes Egyptian identity while exploring the paradoxes of family ties. The star-studded cast includes Lebleba, Adel Karam, Entesar, Mahmoud El-Bezawy, Amir Salah El-Din, and Donia Maher. “A Wedding or a Funeral” hits Egyptian cinemas on September 24 and screens across the Arab world on September 25.
